After suffering with what she thought was just depression for over 20 years, Andrienne Kennedy was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and generalized anxiety disorder back in 2014. For the 1st couple of years, she was in deep denial of her diagnosis because of the harsh stigma associated with mental illness and mental health disorders. She is the creator and founder of the blog “Beautiful Brain Collective” in which she encourages high-functioning professional that they can live a great life, their best life, despite a diagnosis.
She is from the East Coast of the United States. Her perspective is unique because she believes that bipolar disorder is one of the best things that has happened to her and has been her greatest teacher.
